I've just noticed that, although you can still use voice commands to raise and lower the interior temperature, saying "I'm cold" no longer works. I didn't try "I'm hot", which used to get the response, "Perhaps you should go for a swim."

Since the update my infotainment display no longer defaults to the 4 or 5 horizontal categories upon starting the ignition and now opens up to the apps homescreen which looks much like a mobile phone homescreen. I now have to press the button underneath the infotainment screen in order to get the 4 or 5 horizontal categories to show. I previously never had to press this button.

Is there any way to get the display to default to the horizontal categories again when I start the car up?

Have you tried a hard reset by pressing and holding the home button until it restarts?
This usually sorts interim infotainment issues.
I've had to do a couple of resets on my car since new, but since the latest update, I ve not had an issue(yet)

I read on another forum that Volvo have frozen the roll out process during the holiday period. Seemingly it restarts on the 7th Jan. I don't know how accurate this is.

Tried it and the infotainment system still starts up on the apps homescreen unlike before the update.

Can you (and others) confirm that your infotainment screen still defaults to the 4 category display as shown below? Mine used to but now I have to press the button underneath the display to get it.

Just popped out and checked, mine currently starts with Google maps on screen.
No idea if the infotainment system start up is now related to your most used screen.
Google maps on start up works for me as that is always my immediate choice and is on screen all the time when driving.

That's interesting. Did it default to Google Maps upon starting before the last software update?

Ours always starts with the 4 category display. No change after latest update.

The only time I get the horizontal bars is after a hard reset or by pressing the home button. Any other time it’s as I left it following previous drive
