For a Factory reset you will need to re-enter your Google ID/Password, and then set up again any profiles, pair again any mobile phones and of course set your seat positions again.

This video helped me when I had to reset mine - I wasn't getting any connectivity, after a days ownership. Dealer had set up the profile incorrectly.

I did have notifications to install, but after a few days it disappeared, before I had chance to install. Not that bothered, not sure what the benefits are, unless an AA user.

3.3.16 appears to be available again from posts on other forums. Whether Volvo halted their system for the Christmas period or for other reasons isn’t clear

Given the choice again I wouldn't install it. Unless you need Android Auto there is nothing positive to be gained from the update.

3.3.16 so far has been stable with no issues that I've detected.
It will undoubtedly include foundation changes for the upcoming big release this year. Don't understand why anyone wouldn't want to install it.
