Still waiting for the update for my Sept 2024 registered XC40 recharge

Hi all, New to Volvo. This new update. Will the Centre console tell me when it is ready to download or will it do it automatically if the settings are set to download in settings?

Yes, typically a message will appear on the centre screen and you will get a notification in the phone app.

It's due OTA from today. Calculating 3 weeks from the release notice date.

Might as well say it before someone else does..

Gives us all plenty of time over the Christmas holidays to report all the errors the latest update will no doubt feature

Installed on mine yesterday during 1st service. Have a nice 160 mile round trip to do today so should be interesting

Had the message this morning asking if I wanted to install it. In no rush as everything is working Ok and I'm not bothered about AA.

I don’t know why Volvo bother with announcing an update weeks and weeks before allowing it to be actually downloaded.
They might as well say that they will issue updates when they decide to issue them (or withdraw them) at some time in the future.
It’s really rather wooly !!!
