Hi all,
My car has been diagnosed for replacement of the top mounts as above (clicking as you are moving slowly and turn to the right in my case). The car was diagnosed 3 weeks ago, and the dealer (Lookers) agreed that there was a warranty issue. They ordered the parts and booked me back in yesterday, but the job hasn't been done.
The full story: a call this morning from the dealer said that Volvo Tech had refused the claim for the parts that had been ordered, because there is a new design of the parts which won't be available until October... So be interested to hear anyone elses experience currently...

I noticed the same clicking noise, turning right at slow speed, just over a year ago. I mentioned it when it went in for a service in June and they investigated but didn't find anything. I will wait until you have an update and maybe more information before contacting the dealer.

Hi Andy, No news, and I haven't rung the dealer yet due to aged in-law health problems... I do need to speak as I'm selling the car by the end of the month
My car had been groaning a bit at low speed when turning but not that bad to warrant attention. The new car is noticeably quieter though and hopefully has modified parts if they were available at the time of build.

Mine has this issue too. I booked it in with Volvo and they said sometimes changing the drop links can fix it. They tried that and the problem actually got worse. Great. I’m now waiting for Volvo to release the redesigned top mounts. Dealer “thinks” that they might be released “around Christmas / the end of the year”. The date seems to be constantly pushed back.
