SI adds Waze as an option too.

Just like you can't get Android only Software to run on an Apple phone... So the hardware platform for Sensus won't be the same as the hardware for the Google platform, the Sensus Operating System isn't the same as Android, and therefore Google maps is a much bigger deal than you might at first think.

The solution is simple. Get the dealer fit Smartphone Integration. Adds Google Maps, Waze, and a huge range of auto friendly apps to choose from. Waze and Amazon Music HD are my two faves.

Yes Mike I do have smartphone integration and am using Android Auto which really negates the advantage of having such a large screen as the mapping is only half screen.

Indeed. A landscape app on a portrait screen 🤦🏻‍♂️

Last 3 Skoda's had landscape displays and so GM/Waze displayed full screen.

I was just thinking that would be the easiest way to get GM, as there seems zero chance of getting the Google screen in a Sensus car.
