Poll has been set up to allow for changes to "poll responses". This allowing for forum members to provide latest timelines (as provided by Volvo/dealers) and then to finalise once vehicle actually received.

I've given mine a tweak because I was advised w/c not an exact date. Ordered 24th Feb and told w/c 23rd April - so being on borderline and it possibly being later that week I put less than 3 months (although could have put 2)

Mine was originally 4mths, pushed back today to 8mths☹️

Rifleman, it was your sad news that prompted the idea for this poll. Hopefully helpful to all to either see how lucky they are, or in your case very hard done by or unlucky with timing.

I'm going to predict that we'll get some quite short lead times initially from those that were able to grab early pre-ordered production slots but given rifleman's experience that as those flush out of the system that it looks like longer lead times are to be anticipated.

Ordered 6th Jan with a predicted delivery of “mid March”
Car now in UK and registered with DVLA 29th March but as of today 4th April, not arrived at my dealership.
It would seem I’m going to get mine within days unless it’s been lost or God forbid damaged in transit!
I get daily updates from the dealer which just say “not arrived yet but will be worth the wait when it does” 😂 Poor bloke is getting more stressed than me which I can understand as mine is supposed to be the first one arriving at his dealership.
Black (inside and out) XC40 First Edition D4, 20” Wheels and a dog grille :D Collection Saturday 7th April (ordered 6th January).

Just make sure you check the car all over (and the paintwork) just in case they haven't been up to any funny business

Ordered 26th of Nov, delivered to dealer on 12th March, collected on 14th March.
3.5 months for me. Must of been somewhere near the first handful of customer cars for the UK I think.
Really feeling for you lot with the ever extending wait times :shock:

Hi Boomer - I appreciate the table which indicates "Lead Times" for most of us is 2 to 4 months. I was wondering how many are First Edition orders and how many for non First Edition, I have ordered XC40 Inscription Pro T4.
I have updated the table with my order - (Order placed 2nd March with dealer saying Volvo say delivery 18th July).
