Hi,
I am the owner of my first Volvo and its also a fully electric car. I love the car, so comforatble, easy to drive and feels solid, a great car all round. I have had it for 3 months now and getting used the charging it and the range etc and generally have no issues except one!
I continually have problems removing the charger cable for the charging point, not from the car. This has now happened on 3 occassions and with 3 different types of charging points. Fortunately I know its not user error as I have had other colleagues with me who have witnessed the issue and try themselves to remove the cable without success.
Can anyone shed some light on this problem or am I doing something wrong? All suggestions will be appreciated.
Charger cable issues
Little more info required. I am assuming you are talking public charger, and if so, one that you have to use your own cable? All public chargers I have used tend to be rapid, and they have their own tethered cable, so slightly confused.

So basically charger you are using is same as home charger - 7kw output, if you are using your car’s own cable. I guess if work charger it is FOC, so no payment required before disconnecting. Probably teaching you the obvious (apologies), but always disconnect from car first ( and connect), before disconnecting from charger. Failing that, try locking ( leave a couple of mins) then unlocking the car, before disconnecting from charger.
