Water ingress

Hi all. A few weeks ago I had to have my 2022 R-Design XC40 dragged off my drive onto a flatbed waggon All four wheels were locked in “park” and the engine would not turn over with the start button. Volvo identified a water ingress from a loose vent in the area of the rear near side . This water had permutated under the carpet to the front bulkhead, up the insulation wet an electronic module and various circuitry on it way. Just been looking on here and note many leaks sites on these cars but not RNS. I don’t think this happened overnight so intend to search out am access point in the carpets to do regular checks. Anyone on here had this problem and can lend any experience, really don’t want it to happen on the move. Or another bill for £3k. Thanks
Must admit Ive never come across many water ingress posts on this forum during my time on here. I seem to remember one with the tailgate.
Sorry that you've had to endure the experience of an incompetent and ill prepared recovery outfit. No way would they be dragging my car off the drive!
