So if you are ordering the Plus you can't have the 360 now which I find really useful and wouldn't want to do without.
According to the online configurator, now you can order Plus with 360 camera added as optional equipment for £545. https://www.volvocars.com/uk/build/xc40?cbv=1

Well I'm totally confused! I didn't see that when I visited the web-site earlier and I can't see it via your link!

Just shows how clunky the web-site is.

Edit: Just tried it again and found the 360 this time though the other options don't look the same! I take it the Driver Assistance Package includes ACC which wasn't available on the Plus recently and there are other options that weren't available before. As I said they are now changing the specs every 5 minutes it seems! They seem to have realised that they might be losing sales by trying to force folks to have the Ultra trim when they didn't want it which would have included me.

Is it just me or is the Volvo web-site one of the worst manufacturers sites?

I find Volvo’s website quite good. It works fine on my iPad using Safari browser, I have no problem accessing all info and configuring a car. Perhaps old cookies on your web browser interfere with refreshed content on previously visited websites, it might explain why you see different things at each visit to the configurator.

Try Volvo’s website with a new browser or clean your current browser cache by deleting all cookies, it will also improve overall browsing speed and page refresh. Just be aware that you’ll need to log back in every website, so make sure to remember your passwords. More details here: https://www.lifewire.com/how-to-clear-cache-2617980

Thanks, could be. Main problem I have though is just how it is set out. Been using my tablet but I'll have a look on my PC. As far as the specs go you don't appear to be able to see what is available completely without doing a build, unless as I said that's just me.

I much prefer the brochure format for that. When I bought my first one it was easy as you could easily see exactly what you were getting and what the options and accessories were.

Can you still download brochures?

When we went for the test drive, we inquired about the 360 camera and were indeed told it is an option available on the Plus model as a standalone £545 extra. I hope no changes before we are able to order later this month.

To be clear, as previously stated, items get Included/Deleted in-between Order and Build time so it's imperative you check every item on the order against the build sheet which the Dealership can provide.

Thank you. Will bear this in mind. It’s our first Volvo order and actually only second ever brand new car so appreciate all the advice given on this forum. I can see people have had issues between FY model years.

Yes, I certainly did. I was told it wasn't getting Pixel Lights, etc. so I cancelled my order. Then 6 months later was contracted to say it had arrived and did I still want it! It had more spec than I originally ordered and a better price! so I said yes. I was very careful checking the order spec against the build spec and the build spec against the actual car before I took delivery. It's worth the extra 15 mins at handover time
