Picked up this afternoon. Dealer set everything up including Skoda app and wireless Carplay. Haven't had a good look yet but displays look very good and as I mentioned previously you get a choice of driver displays.

Wife drove the 15 miles home and she was very happy with it and said that as well as the size she finds the Volvo wafty! She is definitely happier with a traditional car.

Looking forward to driving it and going on some runs out.

Drive is a bit crowded at the moment until my son moves out shortly!

Looks lovely...shame about the weather. Hope the wife enjoys it now you've put in the time to get a good deal. Did CARWOW still do as well as they have been doing in the past?

Thanks. She's very happy with having her own car again and is loving the Fabia already. It really is a nice little, but roomy car and it is amazing what you can get with small cars nowadays. As mentioned we've specced it pretty high and the only things it hasn't got over the Volvo is electric seats and 360 deg camera though it has a rear view camera. Have gone for the 1.5 (though the 1.0 goes surprisingly well) with DSG and so will perform well.

Have to day that the service from the dealer has been first class even though we were buying their smallest car.

Yes, Carwow provided good prices again as fortunately VWG have postponed their move to Agency and I hope it stays that way.

yes ...i agree..delaying going agency is deffinately a good move. Spec sounds really good for smaller end of vw market i'd say

We did a similar thing in June a bought my wife this. First saw and drove it when it only had 12 miles on it but as it was pre registered we couldn’t have it for three months but when we picked it up it only had 505 miles on it and was as immaculate as the day we first saw it. Added bonus was the hefty saving over buying new

Very nice. I did say earlier that I'd gone off VW's due to their corporate front end but have to say that the Polo still looks good unlike the larger models.

I haven't driven the Fabia or even been in it yet as we've been away for a few days!
