My wing mirror won't vertical adjust, horizontally it does but struggles a bit. Does anyone have a suggestion as to what might be causing this and if i can resolve myself?

Thanks

Lack of replies suggests no - one else has had this issue. If your car is still under warranty take it to Volvo dealership, if not, an independent Volvo specialist.

I'm guessing it could be the motor or switch.

Yes, that's a motor, because apparently these mirrors have two of them; one for vertical movement, one for the horizontal one.
I've had an issue like that with my 2018 last year and it was the driver's one. Don't know for how long it didn't work, because it did vertical movements (since it's set up for the vertical tilt when I switch to reverse gear) and I'm usually the only one driving. I could adjust it with my hand, but that's lousy.
It cost me 200 EUR for the spare part and the labour at Volvo dealer in Croatia, last november.
