Dowloaded on my C40 this past weekend with no issues, so deffo not been pulled
Perhaps you crept under the wire... seens like 3.1.10 is being released.

https://www.xc40forum.com/threads/3-1-9 ... ight.7991/
Little info on what is in 3.1.10 but appears to be mostly key related, and only for 2024 vehicles

I've noticed since updating to 3.1.9 that keyless entry is hit n miss, sometimes ive stood next to the drivers door and pulled on the handle 10 times with no success. Next useit would work first time - key is always in trouser.

Also had three occasions when entering the car, the brake pedal is rock solid, almost as though its locked. Another prod and its back to normal - as i use one pedal drive 99% of the time im not sure if this is just related to being parked up overnight, software glitch or a hardware issue. Car drives fine in one pedal mode

I've had that rock hard pedal thing a couple of times lately, once when I'd driven a short way.

And this morning 50 limit was showing in a 30 in town so still some issues with that.

*%$&^ How the hell does Volvo release such rubbish to us and yet get away with it. We, the customer and owners, seem powerless to do anything about it, well apart from refusing to accept the updates but then you're shooting yourself in the foot as some of the existing issues may well be fixed. Stuck between a rock and a hard place.

I wonder how many signatures we'd get if I started a petition on change.org targeted at the Volvo Board?

No, I haven't, although the car's internet connection is fine - I use the remote start most mornings. Still, if it persists in not showing as available I might.

Graf, Rebooting Head Unit and Modem immediately after clears cache and forces a reconnect to Volvo Servers. It's worth doing regularly simply as good practice. Likewise regularly deleting Google Offline maps forces a nice fresh download.

It would be something if Volvo actually got in touch with owners after a software update to check that everything was Ok and offer advice if not e.g. as per JFDIT's advice and also
feedback on suggestions for features and menu choices. I amongst others have done the latter and as far as we know they go straight into the recycle bin!

We are fortunate to have this forum with great members who can help. Gawd knows what it's like for those owners who only turn to Volvo and the dealers.

One of the advantages for the agency model supposedly is that manufacturers have owners details and therefore can contact them. Well make use of it then for other than trying to flog us new cars. I get more emails from my dealer.

GRAF, Open Google maps and hit on the settings cog. Option to Download your own offline regions and delete them as well as the Auto Download area is in there.

As I've said previously, I clear offline maps and reboot the Head Unit and Modem frequently and appear to suffer fewer issues than many on this forum. We need to remember it's no different to a PC and I wouldn't leave that running for weeks on end without a power down.

Ta

ETA Well done the modem and head unit reset, still no sign of 3.1.9 being offered. I don’t know how long to wait before talking to the dealer (who failed to do the update as they should have during my recent service). The “normal” 3 weeks is up. Maybe give it another couple then get in touch with them. They’ve offered to collect / return the car as it was their mistake (plus I complained they’d unplugged my dashcam and not plugged it back in after).

I had a black centre screen today. Holding the button down for a reset made no difference nor did stopping and starting the engine, it was as if there was no power? I had to get out and lock the car, wait a few moments and then everything was OK, bizarre.
