From new, my ‘24 B3 Ultra responded to my voice command to enable/disable the Lane Keeping Aid feature. Yes, it can be selected manually via the infotainment screen menu, but the voice option was easier!😉Anyway, after about two weeks of ownership, this particular voice command request is no longer recognised, but the manual selection is still fine. My dealer stated that the car shouldn’t be able to recognise that driving assistance ‘safety’ command, but couldn’t explain why it had done so previously! Any experts with the knowledge to better understand what’s going on….or not? TIA.

You can also turn it off/on from the right arrow on the left steering wheel buttons.

I tried what you suggested re the right arrow on the LH steering wheel buttons. No effect unfortunately.

When I started driving I had no power steering and had to roll a cigarette whilst changing gear and navigating using a Road Atlas and an AtoZ of London. What has happened to us to need Lane Keeping Assistance?!!!

The right arrow on the left spoke is to turn pilot assist on and off.

I lost the voice control for one pedal drive (never tried the lane keep assist) - not something i used often, but it wasnt present with software 3.0.3 and its not back in 3.1.9.

I cant remeber whether google could open/close the windows, but i tried that yesterday and it came back with 'i cant do that'

Nothing - the cars are 30-50% bigger and the lanes are the same size, you have less time to correct any loss of attention (although drivers are a lot more distracted by all the technology these days)

I think the right arrow works differently depending on if you have the speed limiter function set on the centre console?

No, we've all been dumbed down to the lowest common denominator. And that's pretty low!

My mistake, I thought Pilot assist was Volvo's name for Lane assist? So you can have Lane assist and not Pilot assist?

I don't use either, but if I recall correctly if you choose the Speed Limiter in settings then you can't toggle the Pilot Assist options on the steering wheel. But I might have dreamt it!

I have pilot assist in central screen menu, not speed limiter - i can use the steering wheel button to toggle between normal cruise control and pilot assist.

I've not tried the button when speed limiter is selected, perhaps it has another functionality then.
