Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Not my cup of tea. Q3 nearest contender but just not available. Fingers crossed for January.

Beauty is fine, but no AWD high spec XC40 sold in the UK. So I'll be looking at the Sportage as well

Hold off on the Sportage for a couple of weeks. New model on the way but not in the showroom yet. Currently driving Soortage GTLine S and found it imposible to get XC40 to match the spec of the standard Kia. Nevertheless, ordered T5 Recharge for delivery end March.

My SEAT Ateca is loaded with kit and I can’t wait to change it for a lower specced, much better quality Volvo. It was the worst car mistake I made going from Audi to SEAT thinking it is part of the VAG brand and I was paying less for more. I test drove the Q3 but didn’t feel anything about it. It was okay but the XC40 felt special.

Bocca70, I tested a Q3 and a GLA when it came time to select a replacement for my XC40. As you say, the Q3 just didn’t seem as special, somehow less grown up. The GLA was really disappointing, barely any higher riding than a standard family hatchback and dreadfully cheap and plasticky inside. In the end I opted for another XC40.

I know that drivers have had good and bad experiences with this car and it’s the same with every make and model. I am just hoping for better luck with this one, firstly that it will arrive!

I ordered an Inscription T3 Auto on 7th July 2021 with an initial delivery estimate of late October, early November.
Revised delivery date: during December.
Latest delivery estimate: second week of March 2022

The new British built Qashqai is available with auto AWD with BLIS. A great drive too
