I am really sorry as I am sure people have asked before and others will not believe I can’t understand it all, but we’ve recently purchased a 2021 XC40 T5 Recharge and there’s no owner’s manual so I’m trying to get my head around the hybrid feature.
I’ve filled it up with a full tank of petrol and then I’ve charged at my mum’s house using her charging station. This filled the battery indicator to about 3/4.
I have some questions if anyone wouldn’t mind helping me get my head around it all!
1. When driving home from her house (10 miles) car is showing 0.0mpg. Is this because it has driven on the battery all the way home?
2. Is battery shown as blue on the driver performance view of the car and green arrows are petrol?
3. I have uploaded a photo with my dashboard. What do the yellow and red circled sections mean? And is the blue circle that says battery 11 mean I have 11 miles left on the battery?
4. If it uses up all the battery, does it move to petrol? And when does the battery recharge or this only when I plug it in?
Sorry for the idiotic questions and thank you to anyone who managed to get this far!
