Hi all,
I collected my 2025 B4 plus black edition last week and am very happy with it ( fuel comsumption is a little concerning, hoping it improves as things settle down) however I just noticed tonight whilst driving home that it has no audible indicator clicking sound just the flashing left or right arrow. Is this normal or have I managed to turn the sound off in a setting that I now can't find or is it a fault?
I have stopped and restarted the ignition/engine several times to no avail. Any input to my little mystery welcome.
Indicator clicking
There is a very distinct click to the indicator, other posts on here comment that at times it seems to miss a beat which has been put down to deliberate to remind you it's active. Definitely a fault if continuing no click.

Thank you Felindre, my indicators miss a beat occasionally, I didn’t realise it is intentional. That saved me £170 diagnostic charge by the garage, which I’m sure they would charge even if they know of it.
2020 B5 Inscription Pro. AWD. Auto. Denim Blue. Amber interior. Intellisafe Surround. Winter Plus.
The later AAOS cars don't miss a beat unlike the earlier Sensus ones.
No clicking definitely isn't right and if the infotainment reset doesn't fix it then it needs referring to the dealer.
Edit: Sorry I see it's sorted now. The magic reset seems to be required often to fix things especially after software updates. Glad you are enjoying the car.
Surprised at your mpg as I find it very good for the type of car, are you doing short or city driving?

Hi Chris,
My AAOS equipped XC40 didn't do the "miss a beat" trick until just last week, since when it has occurred on several occasions. I was used to it on my previous Sensus car and was pleased that it had had been removed on the AAOS car. But now it's back

Ron, I've not had it happen once since owning the car for over a year. Was a bit strange at first as had got used to the idiosyncrasy of it in the first car.
I take it this is since the software update?
