Even if you switch the engine off with the app screen showing?

I was just showing what it used to do. How it used to behave. Can you find anything specific to the latest update?

Home view
Home view is the view that is shown when the screen is started. This consists of four subviews.
It is possible to choose which apps you want to be displayed in the home view's subviews. An app selected from app view is launched in the relevant subview in home view.
The subviews are dynamic and show the latest apps used, e.g. navigation, media or phone. Tap on the desired app to expand it, or swipe from the left in the tile to view additional apps.

That is the problem though. Since the update more than one of us now has the display open on the last used screen before the engine was switched off previously. It does not default to the home screen.

Sure if the home screen was on the display when you switched off the ignition then the infotainment system will open on that screen the next time you start the car but it used to open on the home screen no matter what prior to the update.

My v60 (which of course has the exact same software) is also doing this.

Only noticed it as if I have a playlist open on Youtube Music, that list remains open when I next use the car, whereas before it would go back to the closed pane.

I thought it an improvement!

Yes, still got the T8.
The headlights are poor compared to the XC40 Pixel LEDs and I really missed the heated screen this morning. But I suspect I'll miss the stupid acceleration when it goes back.

I do think the XC60's are ugly compared to the XC40 but thats only my take on it....XC90 with big wheels look smart but ridiculous price nowadays. Make the most of the 60 while you have it....they might even try to sell you one at the dealership as i think they are another car thats struggling with sales although i think they dont flood the market with em to keep the prices high. Mine in for first service tomorrow so i'll let you all know what loan car i get. Hope its not V60 like last time as mrs finds em too low to get in and out.

Cannot believe it’s 12 months since you got your car. Only seems like yesterday when you were informing us of issues getting the car!
