XC40 Seat material

Thinking about ordering a 2025 XC40 Ultra Dark. There is a choice of Suede/Microtech or leather for the seats.
Are there any opinions on which of these coverings is more comfortable?

I've always had leather seats, but my current car has Alcantara seats, which has proved to be very good and seems to wear better than leather.
My previous Volvos have always had leather seats, but I am looking for the best comfort.

Alcantara every time for me...leather is sticky in summer and cold in winter..yes you get heated seats but having had both i'd personally always go Alcantara.
P.S ..i dont have young children anymore and so no messy sweets to stick to the Alcantara which i supose would be an advantage of leather if i had.

My previous XC40 had leather/Nubuck seats and the current one has the Suede/Microtech which looks very similar and is equally as comfortable.

I've had leather seats in previous cars and do like them but have no experience of them in an XC40.

I have leather bolsters with Alcantara squabs in my TT which is my favourite choice.

I’ve leather seats in my xc40 ultimate and they are class. So comfortable. I’d recommend.

Had two XC40s with leather seats and they are pretty decent quality and comfortable. Shame no leather steering wheel though.

Just a quick update. Had a sit in some showroom cars, a close decision, but I found the microfibre a little bit more comfortable under my thighs, so decided to go with that option.
Time will tell, but thanks for the feedback.

Sounds as though you would have been happy with both options. Had mine for a year now and no complaints on comfort, including a recent 200 mile non-stop trip and I'm getting on a bit now!

I'm quite tall at 6' 1" and wanted the squab extensions, which I've had on both cars and have never used them as the seats offer enough support anyway.

On the Ultra models, the seat squab has an adjustment for comfort to lengthen the seat if desired.
I have light leather in mine and find it very comfortable and a good look with the vapour grey paint.

Has it been dropped from the Plus then? Details on the web-site are as usual vague but one photo of the Plus interior does suggest it does have them.
