I have the Sensus system.
My question is am I able to update 1 country at a time eg. France, then erase it from USB stick then download UK update.
I don't really need all of Europe.. The last time I updater the maps I did the full maps 20G took days to finish updating.

Momentum Pro AWD Auto D3, Xenium pack,, 19'' 5 spoke Thunder Grey, Black Rear Tints, Tow Pack, Rubber/Plastic mats, Rear Trunk Mat.
I have found that minor updates are over the air but bigger ones require downloading. It would probably be impossible to pick out individual changes. I've had 3 ota updates and I believe 4 pc to usb stick and uploads to the car ( western Europe being the obvious huge download). Imagine how relatively few new streets are created or new roundabouts made in this country.
I also keep a Garmin satnav and there are very few updates on the platform. It's a lot easier though!

Yes, you can do exactly that. I find map updates via USB painfully slow to install, OTA map updates seem much quicker to me. I have the auto-update for the home region selected, OTA via the car modem. The France map is usually too big for OTA but very occasionally it will allow it…Ruby12345# wrote: ↑Wed Jun 12, 2024 5:06 pm I have the Sensus system.

I use a 64GB USB 2, and that works. I think it'll work with a USB 3 or 3.2 as well, but if you want to be sure, take a USB 2. It is important that you follow the instructions in detail : if not, it won't work.
If you have questions, don't hesitate to ask.
Always slightly puzzled by posts about this as my maps are completely up to date (by version number), and I have never had anything other than OTA updates, just don't see these huge updates that are too big for OTA.

It depends on what you call « my maps ». We are (well, I am) talking about the 56 GB Europe map, including :
Albania, Andorra, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, British Sovereign Base Areas, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Cyprus (only the southern part), Denmark, Estonia, Faroe Islands, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Isle of Man, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, North Macedonia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Svalbard, Sweden, Switzerland, Türkiye, Turkish Cypriot Administered Area, Ukraine, United Kingdom, Vatican City
You may be talking about the 2 GB North West Europe map or another map of only a few GB.
