Checked with the chat drones but it's still the same story, stuck in Belgium with no updates or ability to give a date. The local dealership promised me a call back a week ago and hasn't delivered im constantly tempted to cancel but at the moment have held off

We gave up! Ordered September ‘23, same as other posts, told December, then after chasing told Bristol Port full and can’t take anymore cars. Promised our current car to our son and really needed the Volvo by February. Bought a Jeep Compass instead on a deal 8K cheaper. One week from test drive to delivery. It was me who persuaded DH to try a Volvo!

Yes exactly the same as our dealer (London based), I don’t think they have a clue what’s going on and neither do Volvo.

I have and would advise others to try emailing [email protected] - she is the Chief Communications Director and if enough people email her, I'm sure something will be done!!! How this scandal isn't in the news I will never know, hundreds of customers must be experiencing the same shambolic service from supposedly a luxury brand?! I also called Barnaby Jones (+44 (0) 7802 840351) who is the Product Communications Manager (UK) at Volvo and he was very flustered as didn't expect a customer to be calling as god forbid anyone at Volvo who is senior is customer facing!! He said he would notify the top of the exec office and customer service team that I am not happy. I would advise more and more of us do the same as this will cause a business like this to do something. They'll only truly care if this goes into the press and halts their orders...!

These « internal » phone numbers and e-mail addresses – personal or business - are not meant to be « bombarded » as the poster suggests.

This maybe frustrating times for those having delays, but feel it unwise to advise members to "bombard" businesses and adding personal contact details.

Reading from the previous posts, I think it was time that Volvo were called out and consumers were made aware of the situation. There are many motoring media outlets who would be happy to run with such a story.
