Heated Seat

Three weeks ago I had my car at the dealer to have the latest software installed as I was having numerous bugs with the old version.

Since I got the car back the drivers side heated seat won't work. The indicator on the centre console works and you can scroll through the heat levels. Heated steering wheel works fine . I have it booked back in in the new year to get looked at.

In the meantime has anyone got any ideas?? The fact it was working before the software update would point it to be a software issue but could it be related to the software or is more likely an actual fault/failure somewhere?

Glad I found this as the identical thing has happened to me. I called the local dealer who did the service and they wanted to charge me near £200 for a diagnostic check. I'd be interested to know what happened if you have already taken it to the dealer. DH

They said they need to replace the heat pads and its going in next week to get it sorted, hopefully. Still seems a coincidence with the software issue but will see how it goes. Will let you know
