The replacement water pump arrived Tuesday and was fitted same day. Well done Stoneacre Stockton. All I need now is for Volvo Assist to get my car back to me!

Apart from initial call out delay, sounds like overall service has been very good, especially with Xmas break to contend with as well.

Car delivered back home this morning, all washed and vacuumed. So far everything good. And a thank you to Stoneacre Stockton.
Regards the XC60 T8 rental I can honestly say I don't like it. And I really can't see the point of PHEV. Electric or ICE I wouldn't touch a PHEV

Deffinately don't see the point in em as i doubt much is saved on fuel due to the initial high purchase price and charging now only seems to be viable when charging at home...am reading lots of stories of massively inflated charging costs when using public charging stations. And we all know that once the majority have purchased an EV charging costs will no doubt increase for home charging or the Government will dream some sort of TAX up to boost their coffers which i do believe is the ultimate goal.You only need look at how normal road tax rates have increased at far greater pace than inflation and the fact that the "luxury car tax" is still at 40k speaks for itself. They reel us in and then hit us hard.....sorry for the moan...been one of them days. But glad you're back in possession of the "40"

Yes, flatbed recovery truck for the 160 mile journey. Enterprise picking up the rental Monday.
Well, I've done my bit saving the planet with the PHEV. Although I did charge the battery from the engine
