I'm a new owner and just bought an XC40; love the car EXCEPT there is a strange slight noise between 0-50mph (road noise overtakes after about 50mph; it's not the engine noise but becomes more pronounced if you barely touch the accelerator.
I went back to dealer and the same noise comes up on a test car. I then drove XC60 and there is no noise at all.... any ideas what it is?

Sorry rumug - its just too vague to say a "slight noise" - a more detailed explanation, if you can give one, would be needed to try and advance from - it could be anything including normal??

You might also want to make the topic title more descriptive, we know it's a XC40, that's what this forum is for.

Some more details on the engine type would also be helpful, but since this is your first visit, you'll get the grip soon.
