Felindre is correct in my case. If the front wipers are actually working then the rear wiper is activated. Although I wouldn't swear it does every time! No worries I just use turn it on if I need it.

I see what percymon meant now! Quite probably painted at a different time/location but I don't agree colour difference is inevitable. Any decent body shop can colour match paintwork although Red and Yellow can be a bit more of a challenge.
