I've just used a Tapo P110 from a porch socket - not my outdoor waterproof one. It works really well into an App. It told me my XC40 used 9.55kWh to charge from empty to full for £3.25. I haven't checked current price but I bought a few for various purposes from Amazon for about £10 each.
