Re: Advice needed - which model?
I went from a string of Ford Fiestas to my XC40. It’s when you come to park you realise how much bigger the Volvo is. Have you looked at the Puma Mhev Auto?
I can’t fault my XC40 it’s one of the best cars I’ve had.

Re: Volvo Car App
Twice I've had an online chat with them via the App, sent photos of my V5c and they still haven't changed my reg number over, getting a bit fed up with then now, back onto them again ........ I scanned my “replacement V5” in to a PDF Document and sent it to Volvo via WhatsApp and the change was mad...

Sounds like a reassuring outcomevortex2001 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 31, 2024 3:23 pm Follow up: Took car to local Volvo main dealer. They found a stone wedged between the brake pad and the disc protector shield offside front wheel.
Car was in for about 45mins. No waiting around to be inspected. No charge or diagnostic fee.

Re: New XC40 sudden power loss - safety issue
Any chance you have a dash cam and footage of the incident to share with your dealership and Volvo UK?

Re: Isofix/child seat problem
The isofix mounts are understandably sturdy … if the car is within its warranty period a trip to the dealer is in order
